Elm Practice Cards
Elm Practice Cards for March should have now been turned in. April practice cards will be handed out today and tomorrow in class. Yes, students need to practice over Spring Break!

Band Boosters
EP Band Boosters isn't just for high school parents!
If you have a band student at home, you are welcome to come to meetings and see what's going on firsthand. Our next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 22nd, at 6:30PM in the EPHS Cafeteria. Meetings usually last between 30 and 60 minutes and are a great opportunity to get involved, meet other band parents, and make a difference for the kids! If you have any questions about boosters, please e-mail Mr. Rhoades at rhoadesk@epcusd401.org.

Band Boosters Meeting
There is a Band Boosters meeting on Wednesday, 3/25/09, in the EPHS Cafeteria at 6:30PM. We will discuss Jazz Cafe and the IHSA Contest.

Elm Practice Cards
Elm students should have 240 minutes of practice after today. Please keep up with your students on this!
Many students have not yet turned in their signature sheets to go along with the practice cards. Please remember that students must turn those in BEFORE they receive credit for the practice cards. Extras have been available continuously in Band class.

A Tentative Schedule for Saturday, 3/28/09:
(a note will be sent home in the next couple of days)
7:45AM Arrive at EPHS, change into Concert Uniforms (or arrive dressed)
8:00 leave for Mother McAuley HS
9:00 arrive at MMHS, unload
9:20 Choir warmup
9:40 Choir performance
10:00 Band warmup
10:30 Band performance
11:15 leave for EPHS
12:00PM arrive at EPHS, change, go home

Elm Sectional Schedule
The Sectional Schedule for Elm has been posted to the calendar. They will receive a note in class today or tomorrow about this. Groups are as follows:
A Flutes and oboes
B Clarinets
C Alto Saxes
D Trumpets
E French Horns
F Trombones, Baritone, Tuba, Tenor Saxes, Bari Sax, Bass Clarinet
G Percussion
Please remember that all after-school events are worth 10 points. Students involved in Elm sports practices should come to sectionals first.
